REDLINE LIGHTING My install

Bring your own

You bought them.
We’ll put them up.

Plenty of people have a perfectly good set in the garage and no wish to spend a Saturday on a ladder. That is a job we do, and it prices differently.

One number, not two

Our price normally has two parts — the lights themselves, paid once, and the labour, paid every season. If the lights are already yours, the first part simply does not exist. You see the labour figure and nothing else.

The estimator knows this. Answer “I already have lights” on the first screen and it stops asking about colour and materials entirely.

We check them before you book

At the site visit we test every run. It takes a few minutes and it is the difference between a good December and a bad one.

If something will not survive a season on a roof — brittle insulation, a dead section, connectors that have been outside for six winters — we tell you then, not in the middle of December. If you are short, we top you up at what the lights cost us, itemised separately from the labour.

We would rather lose the job at the site visit than hang something we know is going to fail in the cold.

The one difference that matters later

Where a set of lights came from decides who pays when it fails.

  • Lights we supplied — if a run fails in December, replacing it is our cost. There is nothing to discuss and no invoice.
  • Lights you brought — we will always come out and get you lit again, but a replacement part is a conversation rather than a given. We tell you what it costs before we fit it.

That is not a different kind of customer, it is a different kind of kit — and it is tracked per set, not per person. If you start with your own lights and we supply a replacement run later, that run is covered even though the rest is not.

Storage either way

We take down in January, clean everything, and store it until next autumn. Yours or ours, it comes back to us and it comes back to you in October.

No materials, no upsell
