Nobody asks for your phone number before you have seen a number. That is the one rule this whole site is built around.

The season, start to finish

The estimate, in about ninety secondsTell us what you want lit and roughly how big the house is. You get two numbers before we ask who you are.

A free site visitTwenty minutes, and you do not need to be home for it. We measure the real roofline, look at how we would reach it safely, and confirm the price.

You pick a week, we confirm the dayWeather moves things and we would rather hold a week in August than promise a Tuesday we cannot keep. The day is confirmed closer to the time.

InstallMost houses are half a day. We send a photo when it is lit, so you can see it before you get home.

December, if anything goes wrongA dead section or a run that has come loose is our problem, not yours — on lights we supplied, that is included and there is nothing to discuss.

Takedown in January, and storageWe take them down, clean them, and keep them until next autumn. They are yours; we just store them.

Why next year is cheaper

The price has two parts, and we show them separately on purpose.

Materials are paid once, in your first season. Commercial-grade lights, cut and clipped to your house. They become your property that day.

Labour is paid every season: design, install, service through December, takedown, cleaning and storage.

So the first invoice is the big one. Every season after that is labour only, and it stays labour only for as long as the lights last — that is the arrangement, not a promise that the figure never moves.

If a run finally gives up in year six, we replace that run at what it costs us and itemise it separately. We do not re-sell you the whole house.
